The database is now open. We launched with 12 researcher profiles spanning AI safety, governance, and algorithmic justice across 10 countries. Submit your profile or nominate a researcher you think should be included.
MARCH 2026 · EVENT
Our inaugural online meetup brought together 28 researchers and practitioners. Topics included funding gaps, Global South representation in AI safety, and what a community database actually needs to be useful.

Timnit Gebru's DAIR Institute has published new research on participatory approaches to AI development. Several Data Bias researchers contributed to the work. Full report linked on their site.
FEBRUARY 2026 · FUNDING
We've published a short funding brief outlining what year-one support would enable — including researcher stipends, hosting, and a part-time coordinator. Available on request.
